Day 1 Nairobi -
Aberdares (LD)
Proceed north in the early morning to the Aberdare Mountains. This
drive is on a good and scenic macadamized road and three hours after
the start of our safari we are comfortably ensconced at the Aberdare
Country Club partaking of our lunch. After lunch we continue by
four wheel drive to the higher slopes of the mountain and the Ark
- which is one of the tree hotels where game is watched from the
comfort of the balconies. The multitude and variety of birds on
these slopes are an unforgettable beginning of a wonderful safari.

Day 2 Aberdares
- Nakuru (BLD)
Drive into the Great Rift Valley and Lake Nakuru, arriving in time
for lunch. This afternoon, enjoy game and bird viewing in Lake Nakuru
National Park, home to a record 350 varieties(species) of birds.
Overnight: Lake Nakuru Lodge
Day 3 Lake Nakuru
(BLD)
A full day at Lake Nakuru includes morning and afternoon game drives
in the park. Lake Nakuru is perhaps most famous for the over one
million greater and lesser flamingoes that gather at the lake during
various times of the year. In addition, the tens of thousands of
other birds make this an ornithologist's paradise.

Day 4 Lake Nakuru
- Lake Baringo (BLD)
Travel north and stop near Lake Bogoria to see the hot springs and
geysers. Then continue to Lake Baringo, a fresh water lake with
over 450 species of birds. This afternoon, enjoy a guided bird walk.

Day 5 Lake Baringo
(BLD)
A day that begins with a guided bird-viewing before breakfast. Later
enjoy a boat trip on the Lake, followed by an afternoon at leisure.

Day 6 Lake Baringo
- Lake Naivasha (BLD)
Drive via Lake Elementaita which is also home to migratory flocks
of flamingoes to Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch. A boat
trip on Lake Naivasha with a visit to Crescent Island is included
on the itinerary for this afternoon.
NOTE:Crescent Island is another ornithogists' paradise is a must-see
for the birding aficionado. Overnight: Lake Naivasha Country

Day 7 Lake Naivasha
(BLD)
Another day of guided bird watching. Later this afternoon, visit
nearby Hell's Gate National Park which is one of the few parks where
you are allowed to walk and if you are interested in rock climbing
then you are free to try your skills even as the rest of your team
proceeds further afield bird watching. Overnight: Lake Naivasha
Country Club
Day 8 Naivasha-Maasai
Mara (BLD)
An early start for Maasai Mara which is reached in time for lunch
at Siana Springs Intrepid. Afternoon game drive to locate
the large variety of game that grace this famous sanctuary.
Among the wildlife you should see are the cheetah, the leopard,
buffalo, elephant, antelopes, hippo, crocodile, hyena, rhino and
giraffe. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge. Overnight:

Day 9 Maasai Mara
(BLD)
A full day is spent game viewing across the rich tree studied grasslands
and rolling hills. The famous Mara is reknowed for its great herds
of plain game, black manned lion , leopard, cheetah, and annual
migration of wild beast and zebras. Meals and overnight at the lodge.

Day 10 Maasai Mara-Nairobi

Drive back to Nairobi today arriving around midday.
